Prize Winners Announced!

An oil painting on canvas titled Yellow House by Liliana Arias of York Springs was selected as Best of Show by Juror Barbara McNulty, Ph.D., Director, Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery, Lebanon Valley College, at the Arts Council’s 14th Annual Juried Art Exhibition’s awards reception on June 2 at Schmucker Art Gallery, Gettysburg College.

The exhibit, free to the public and featuring a diverse representation of media by 41 artists, will be on display through June 23, with daily hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. except Mondays. The exhibition is produced through a partnership with Schmucker Art Gallery, 300 N. Washington St., Gettysburg.

Not present for the photo were: Third Prize sponsor Timbrel and Scott Wallace of Lark, Fourth Prize sponsor Kristine Witherow of Harvest Investment Services, and Blick Art Materials Awardee Anne Finucane. The People’s Choice Award went to Eileen Colgan Bowling. Gallery 30 was reception sponsor.
