Who among our early organizers could have imagined that the Adams County Arts Council would grow into a regional leader in the arts, the operator of a 10,000 sq. ft. education center, where students enjoy enriching arts experiences and a respected community partner serving 20,000+ people each year? What a wonderful journey it has been with much more ahead!
The celebration will feature guest speaker, Philip Horn, Executive Director Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, soprano Dr. Susan A. Hochmiller with accompanist Tim Foster, awards for outstanding volunteer services by Louise Garverick, Jack Handshaw, Brenda McCabe, and Kate Rice. See artist James Bricker paint a still life which will be up for silent bid. The Gettysburg High School String Ensemble will also perform. Enjoy a vast selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar available.
