Picnic at Gettysburg Daylilies and Peafowl

Wednesday, June 28, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  (Rain date: Thursday, June 29, same time)

Enjoy a picnic, wine, beer, and 1,000 daylily cultivars in bloom at Anne and Charlie’s home, 45 Sachs Rd., Gettysburg. Charlie, a Penn State Master Gardener, member of American Hemerocallis Society and garden judge, will offer garden tours.  You’ll also enjoy peafowl in eight different colors on the farm.  Daylilies for sale with part proceeds to the Arts Council.

Create your own deli buffet with your choice of chicken salad, turkey, and ham with assorted bread and rolls. Side dishes include broccoli salad, fruit salad, tossed salad, and pasta salad.  Brownies for dessert. Beverages include wine, beer, soft drinks, and water.

Reservations requested by June 22.
