Introduction to Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair. Through gentle poses, one can improve strength, flexibility, and coordination of body movements. Each class includes breath work, which can help with stress and pain management. The beauty of chair yoga is that there is no need to transition up and down from the floor. It can be adapted to suit anyone’s need. Chair yoga is an effective way to improve your strength and flexibility in a way that can complement your current medical intervention, therapies, and exercise.
