Landscape Watercolor Workshop
in two parts
Two Saturdays, August 2 & 9
10 am – 2 pm
Nancy Groves, instructor
Join us for a hands-on, two-part art workshop where you’ll learn to transform a simple landscape sketch into a vibrant watercolor painting. Designed for beginners and intermediate artists, this session begins with guided instruction on basic sketching techniques—focusing on composition, perspective, and line work to build the foundation of your landscape. Then, we’ll dive into the world of watercolor, exploring brush handling, color blending, and layering techniques to bring your scene to life.
Whether you’re new to watercolors or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will help you develop a thoughtful process from pencil to paint, leaving you with a finished piece and the confidence to create more on your own.
A materials list will be provided for all students upon registration/prior to the start of the workshop.
