Create a charming wooden mushroom in this beginner-friendly whittling class designed to teach foundational carving skills in a fun and approachable way. Using simple hand tools, you’ll transform a small block of wood into a whimsical mushroom sculpture while learning safe and controlled carving techniques.
Students will practice basic cuts, shaping, and rounding forms while gaining confidence working with wood grain and carving knives. You’ll learn how to form the cap and stem, refine curves, and finish your piece with sanding and natural oil for a smooth, polished look.
