Woven Willow Christmas Décor, Saturday, December 9, 10-2 p.m. maximum of 12

Evergreen trees and stars are traditional symbols of the holiday and winter season.  In this workshop, we will use locally-sourced, natural brown willow to create two or three tree silhouettes and a star.  The trees will ad a subtle, earthy touch to your winter décor, the star can be used a a lovely candle surround on a table, or dressed up with other seasonal greenery and berries.  Susan Matson, $55 ($60 nonmember)

*All students should bring some kind of sharp, cutting tool.  Diagonal or flush cutters or secateurs will make the most attractive trimmed ends.  And students might appreciate having an old towel on hand, as well.*
