Celebrating the Foothills Artist

Come celebrate the Foothills Artists this June at the ACAC in Gettysburg. The exhibit highlights the work of current members illustrator Erin Brown, woodworker Daryl Despres, textile artist Andrea Finch, printmaker Anne Finucane, potter Jack Handshaw, bookbinder Chris Herbert, painter Sarah Maclay, ceramicist Heidi Myers, enamellist Judy Pyle, fabric artist Joh Ricci, photographer Jayne Shord, stained glass artist Gretchen Shutt, painter Geoffrey Thulin and fabric artist Debbie Westmoreland.

It also features work by former members Dorothea Barrick, Mark Brockman, Becky Carter, Geoff Grant, Dan Mangan, Michael McCullough, Sharon Pierce McCullough, Laurie McKelvie, Don Rinehart, Betty Roby (DECD), Ann Ruppert, Rod Stabler, Julian Waters and Sheila Waters (DECD).

The Foothills Artists are a diverse group of visual artists participating in an annual open studio tour in western Adams County. The tour, now in its 18th year, takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving and stretches from the Fairfield area north to Orrtanna and Cashtown.
