Refund Policy

ACAC’s refund policy is as follows: If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify students and give them the option to take a credit, or refund 100% of class tuition.  In the case of inclement weather, we do our best to reschedule the class to suit student’s schedules. If one class in a series is cancelled, we will request that the instructor offer a make up class.  If the majority of students can attend, then no refunds will be offered.

If a student cancels his/her registration:

  • Cancellations made seven business days or more before the class or event start date will be given a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made 5 business days in advance of a non-culinary class or event date will be given credit toward another class or event. Culinary classes and events are non-refundable; however, you may transfer your reservation to another person.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the class or event are non-refundable; however, you may transfer your reservation to another person.
  • If cancellation made less than 5 business days before the class or event is due to a tested illness (i.e. flu, covid, lyme, etc) we will issue a credit on a case by case basis.

Healing Arts

Each of us is on a journey. Creatively navigating that journey empowers us to heal ourselves. ACAC’s Healing Arts initiative is part of a growing recognition in healthcare that the arts exert a powerful effect on the healing process. ACAC’s Healing Arts curriculum promotes wellness and self-healing through the arts in a small, safe group setting, where participants explore arts mediums to find one or more that resonates through the healing process. This class is NOT a substitution for formal therapy. For more information about setting up a class for your group or to learn about joining an existing group, please contact classes@adamsarts.org.
