Event Location: Farmers Market, Rec Park
Plein Air Definition
All artwork must be created “en plein air,” meaning: painted or drawn on-site completed primarily from direct observation begun with blank, stamped surfaces completed during the official competition hours. No use of photographs during active painting.
Schedule
8-9 am: Regisration and Surface Stamping
9 am-12 pm: Quick Draw Competition
12 pm: Display set up and lunch break
12-12:30 pm: Judging
12:30 pm: Awards Announced
Permitted Media
Allowed 2-D media include:
oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel,
graphite, charcoal, ink, collage

Non-member Registration
Adults: $35
Students (14–18): $15
Members Registration

Eligibility
Open to artists ages 14+
All experience levels welcome
Original work only
Artists must register before painting
Surface Stamping
All painting surfaces must be stamped at registration before use.
At the time of stamping: surfaces must be blank or toned with a single-color ground only
All submitted work must display the official ACAC stamp on the reverse.
Artist Responsibilities
Artists must provide: easel, supplies, weather protection

Adult Division
1st Place: $150 cash and Farmers Market Gift Card
2nd Place: $100 cash
3rd Place: $50 cash
