Who can enter? Families, individuals, restaurants, businesses, schools, nonprofits

    What are the prizes and how are they awarded? People’s Choice ($500) and Best Business (Ginger Trophy) will be
    awarded by popular vote. Votes cost $1 each. A panel of judges will award Best of Show ($500), Best School/Nonprofit
    ($200), Most Original Concept ($200), and Best Team Effort ($200). Entries are eligible for only one cash prize.
    When can people see and vote for my house? In person during event hours, free admission for children,
    $1 donation requested for adults, or online during event hours at adamsarts.org
    Who benefits? Our community enjoys this 15th annual holiday tradition and the year-round arts enrichment
    opportunities provided by the Adams County Arts Council.

    What are the rules to enter?
    • Entry forms must be postmarked or received at the ACAC by Wed., Nov. 27, 2024 at 5 p.m. Entries exceeding size limits
    or not conforming to the rules will be ineligible for prizes.

    • Entries must be made primarily of gingerbread. All decorations must be edible and are not limited to sweets.

    • Entries must be delivered to the Adams County Arts Council Arts Education Center, 125 South Washington St.,
    Gettysburg on Wednesday, Dec 4, between 11 am and 7 p.m.

    • Businesses must submit a $25 entry fee and will compete for the Ginger Trophy. There is no fee for other entries.

    • Entire entry must be presented on a solid base no larger than 24 inches by 24 inches. Please add feet under the base,
    raising it slightly for ease of placement, and attach a copy of your entry form to base.

    • Electricity is not provided but battery powered lighting or enhancement is acceptable.

    • Entries become property of Adams County Arts Council and will be auctioned at a pre-event reception after which any
    remaining will be available for bidding online during event hours.

    • Entries will be photographed for online display and promotional purposes.

    • Awards will be announced on ACAC social media and adamsarts.org on Sunday, December 8, at 4 pm.
