Artist Statement
In February 2021, my sister Tara and I founded a jewelry line inspired by Henry, Tara’s son, who was born with Down Syndrome. Henry taught our family profound lessons about love, resilience, and advocacy, motivating us to create high-quality, meaningful designs that celebrate individuals with Down Syndrome. Incorporating symbols like the three chevrons, representing the three copies of the 21st chromosome, our jewelry inspires people to wear their advocacy proudly. Today, 10% of our proceeds support the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network, making this more than a business—it’s a mission to spark awareness and celebrate the beauty of the Down Syndrome community.
