ARTIST STATEMENT
The Ben Jones family of performing groups includes the GETTYSBURG BRASSWORKS, and, THE SAND TRAP BRASS, and, THE BEN JONES BRASS.

The Gettysburg Brassworks is a five piece brass band dedicated to reliving the excitement of musical. The Quintet, which is celebrating over 25 years of performing in south central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, performs music that you might like to listen to at a backyard barbecue, a Sunday concert in the park, or to rouse your enthusiasm at a political rally, banquet or any festive occasion.

The Group’s repertoire includes Dixieland numbers, marches, popular songs, period music and sin-a-longs dating from the 1850s to the almost present time. The Sand Trap Brass is a great entertainment for golf outins, back yard wedding receptions, a gazebo concert, banquets or any festive event. The Sand Trap Brass repertoire includes Dixieland popular standards, patriotic and holiday favorites. The Ben Jones Brass is a 15 piece brass band which plays music, both period and variety, for concert situations.
