Artist Statement

I have always had a love of stained glass looking at it, taking pictures of it and wanting to see what it was all about.  Took my 1st lesson nearly 9 years ago and was hooked.  I retooled a workshop into my stained glass studio.  I have created projects for myself and family as well as private commissions and repairs.  I started teaching stained glass classes at ACAC nearly 4 years ago and have branched out into other locations, including Chambersburg (Arts Council and soon, Recreation Department).  I have my items for sale at Fiddlestix Mercantile and Hollabaugh Bros. Farm Market (where I also teach).  One of the most ambitious and involved projects I was able to participate with was the People Project in 2023. Please see the wonderful collaborative project in the window at ACAC.  It is a 20” x 52” collaborative panel worked on by over 200 Adams Countians (and beyond).  I’m always interested in working with customers to make their stained glass ideas realities.
