Artist Statement

I paint because it is a passion that fuels me. As a colorist, I am deeply fascinated by interpreting the world around me. My work spans oils, acrylics, and screen printing inks, with acrylics being my preferred medium due to their ease of transport and quick drying time. For the past 60 years, painting has been my daily practice. Throughout this time, I’ve completed numerous commissions, and my art now represents me across the globe.

When I seek relaxation, I often find peace in painting flowers.

I am a storyteller at heart, aiming to captivate and entertain the viewer. I enjoy stepping beyond conventional boundaries, embracing the challenges of expressing things as they truly are through the medium of my art.

The Adams County Arts Council is supported
