ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a casual photographer, in the sense that I have no professional training and I photograph local landscapes, as well as people and scenes imaged while traveling or working abroad. I have had several one-woman shows, successful juried show participation, and a few sales. Having photographed with film for many years, I prefer not to post-process my images, although I am becoming less of a purist and now occasionally crop or apply filters. Photography is a constant joy for me as I decline in years and seek to capture bits of the world for posterity.
