“Velvet in Verse is a brand that grew from a simple desire to create beautifully written works, to a business dedicated to the details behind life’s greatest moments.
Prior to creating my brand, I always found myself immersed in a world of all things “writing and literature”. So much so, that I decided at an early age to become an English teacher, and by 2015, I was living that dream. As my “written” world developed, so did my creative one. My admiration for art and literature grew simultaneously, and eventually blended to inspire a new outlet of ingenuity. Through this craft, I was able to create anything from marketing tools for companies, to wedding stationery, to personalized home and event decor. I created with such passion for friends, family, and for my own home, but I had not yet realized the depth of my potential. Then one day, I was enlightened by a dear friend who simply “pointed out the obviousness of it all” and suddenly… everything clicked! From this artistry that I had confined to just a simple hobby, I could finally see the promising possibilities before me. And so, I was inspired once again to let my craft blossom into something more.
Since then, I have worked to create a brand that is designed with designs in mind. Every product and creation from Velvet in Verse is handmade, customizable, and one of a kind.
