Finding Zen in Nature

July 14-18, 2:30-4:30 pm, ages 5-9
Students will use natural materials to create a diorama-style Zen Garden on their own design. They will incorporate the 7 design principles of Japanese Zen Gardens to learn of culturally influenced perceptions of nature and a beautiful space. Students will take a nature walk to find inspiration and supplies from the area around us.
