Grab a friend, or come and make some new friends and enjoy an evening of artistic creativity, wine and amusement.  We’ll provide the supplies and step by step instruction to complete a piece of art- no experience necessary! Bring your favorite beverage and have fun while you paint and socialize! BYOB

Dan Mangan – Digital Photography

Artists Statement:  My goal is to create distinctive art through digital photographic and imaging processes. To this end, my aim with much of my work is to blur the line between photography and painting, blending form, light, and shadow into an uncommon artistic expression. As such, the shutter’s click is only the beginning of a process; the art is built by subtle increments on the platform of the original exposure, much as a painter uses a palette, and often requires hours of refinement. Upcoming  Events

art recycle 20th annual Recyclable Art Contest/Exhibit, Sponsored by the Gettysburg Recycling Committee

April 3 – 18, for students grades K-12.  The exhibit will be held at the Arts Education Center at 125 S. Washington St., Gettysburg.  We’ll display the students’ art during a 2-week exhibit which will offer a good opportunity for family and friends to view the work.  The exhibit will open with a First Friday reception when we’ll begin the voting for a People’s Choice prize that will be announced at the closing Awards Ceremony.
