Learn Basic Defense Moves 101, Wednesday, February 12, 6-7:30 p.m., for teens through adults
There are many varied benefits to learning self-defense, and this workshop will give you the opportunity to learn martial arts for physical fitness and give you the tools to be used if a situation should come up . Students will learn basic blocks and strikes and kicks, counter attacks, and self-defense moves. There will be stretching, cardio, as well as practicing form. Peter Golden, $18 ($20)
