Eat Smart Play Hard: Culinary Arts and Nutrition Program
This program begins with a fun and dynamic hands-on culinary program where students learn incredible tasting healthy recipes, kitchen safety, and sanitation.
Our nutritionist talks with them as they prepare the recipes, so that the students understand how important it is to eat healthy.
Many classes also include a movement arts program like dance or yoga.
The last component of this program is information about local sources for fresh fruit and vegetables. ACAC’s Eat Smart Play Hard program provides the tools that students need so that they can help themselves to a healthy lifestyle.
