Intro to Drafting [drawn] Solutions

Wednesdays, March 26- April 16, 2-4 pm
Have you ever had an idea that you wanted to sketch out on paper, but you lacked the drawing skill to render it properly? Maybe you’re considering a home improvement or craft project but need a blueprint to make it work. If so, Drafting Solutions is the class for you! This course will help you turn a doodle into a professional-looking “drawn draft.” We will explore the fundamentals of design drawing from initial idea to finished draft, buttressing our class structure with design theory.
This introductory class will teach you the basics of drafting and constructing drawings. Once you have mastered those, you will then introduce your unique “design problem” to express and solve through the process of drawing. The class will be tailored to your individual needs, regardless of your skill level, with the goal of developing your own style of visual communication. Come with an open mind and start creating your very own architectonic vocabulary and voice!
