Intro to Improv
Tuesdays, March 18 – April 8, 5-7 pm
Become a better listener and embrace spontaneity in this four-week Introduction to Improv class. We will use games and exercises to capture the spirit of play in a supportive and positive environment. No acting or comedy experience is required, just an open mind and the desire to add laughter to your life.
Improv can help you gain confidence and connect better with people, especially in unexpected situations. You will learn how to collaborate as part of a team, develop new characters and live in the moment. Whether you dream of performing on stage or just want to improve your communication skills, this is the class for you.
Veteran improviser Brian Shea will teach the class. He has previously taught in Hanover, Baltimore and Lancaster. In 2020, he co-founded Highwire Improv in Baltimore.
