Learn the Japanese Bokeh Technique in Watercolor, Saturday, February 8, 12-2:30 p.m.
Students will utilize a lifting technique that transforms the background of paintings into a lovely diffused atmospheric aesthetic. This technique is derived from a Japanese photographic origin and has wonderful applications in many different ways. Vicki Clarkson, $30 ($33)
Materials needed are standard range of watercolor paints, Arches 100% rag 140lb. Watercolor paper, several brushes in both round and flat and a package of baby wipes (unscented). Materials that are helpful include a misting water bottle, masking tape to secure paper and drawing/sketch pencil
