Boasting over 1000 miles of coastline, the Indian states of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu have developed a light, lively and sophisticated cuisine based on fresh seafood, tropical fruits and vegetables and a treasure chest of indigenous spices.  Chef Lou will uncover the secrets of this irresistible cuisine for you to cook at home using ingredients easily purchased online.  She will demonstrate and prepare for you to enjoy, Kerala fish fry, Konkan shrimp in spiced coconut sauce, beans and cabbage thoran, peppery lentil kootu, and pineapple kosimbar salad-all traditionally presented on a banana leaf thali.
