Fall Themed Mosaic Tile, Saturday, October 5, 10-12:30 pm
Spend the morning with us exploring mosaic tile design and application with a fall theme. You will design your themed piece from a range of tiles to fit a 5 x 5 square while learning about composition, substrates and adhesive application. You will have a selection of grout colors to choose from. Your piece will be completed by the end of the class, but will need to dry for 2-3 hours.

About me:
Joanna Welland discovered mosaics in the mid 2000s. After trying a number of different mediums, including glass and frit art, she fell in love with Roman mosaics and tile making. Her tiles are ceramic and made by hand. They come in a large variety of shapes and employ a wide variety of techniques: they may be flat or sculptured, detailed with black lines, or simply glazed with food-safe glazes. Ceramic mosaic tiles can be customized to fit many different sizes, indoor or outdoor.
